Two stationery shops with Xerox, spiral binding, lamination facilities were opened one at Kanchipuram and the other at Dharmapuri. Dawood (fully blind) and Murugesh (partially blind) have been successfully running the shops for the last two years and have become self-reliant.

In house training program was arranged for 6 students from rural areas at the Youth hostel, Indira Nagar. The duration of the course - 45 days.
A 4 day workshop for making paper bags was conducted for 18 blind girls at the Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar.

Long term well wishers and donors of Darshini, AUMUND Engineering of Germany visited the Darshini Centre.
As the students suffered miserably during Covid time for two years, they could not meet each other, Darshini decided to have a Deepavali celebration where an open call was given to all visually challenged people as well as students of Darshini. Cultural programs were conducted. 260 people attended and were given gifts.
To help the students preparing for the Group 4 Exam of TNPSC, 2022, they were given an in-house training and guidance from 17th June 2022 for 40 days.
Darshini has always encouraged environmental awareness among the students. On 7th December 2019 under the leadership of Shri M.B. Nirmal, Exnora, 20 students planted 20 trees at Corporation High School, Thiruvanmiyur.
